UF History Study Abroad Registration Deadlines Approaching

Faculty and students in the Department of History at the University of Florida have many opportunities to participate in study abroad programs. Some of these programs are unique to UF and are run directly by UF History faculty. Other programs are run by other institutions, but are recognized by the University of Florida and may have UF History faculty as instructors. Enrollment deadlines for summer 2013 programs are fast approaching, so please explore some of the programs listed below. Also feel free to visit the UF International Center Study Abroad Services website to find more information about these programs or about studying abroad more generally.

UF in Cambridge, Summer B, 14 July-9 August, includes one week in Paris and three weeks in Cambridge (flier here)

Summer at Sea, Mediterranean Europe and North Africa, 17 June-22 August, departing from England and including stops in Morocco, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Malta, France, Spain, and Portugal. The academic component of this program is run by the University of Virginia, but it is recognized by the University of Florida and Professor Matthew Jacobs and Professor Jessica Harland-Jacobs will both be members of the teaching faculty on this trip.
