If you are a student in a history class and looking for help, the History Department has the place for you. No, it is not Frederick Jackson Turner’s 1894 seminar pictured here–but it is about as close as you can get to those august days of learning.  We’re happy to announce the opening of the History Learning Center in Rooms 223 and 225 in Keene-Flint Hall.

If you need assistance with study skills, are starting a paper, or struggling with Chicago-style citations, the HLC is the place for you.  We are open Wednesdays 9:30-11:00 and Thursdays 10:30-12:00, or you can contact Professor Harland-Jacobs at harlandj@ufl.edu to set up an appointment.

The HLC is open to all students enrolled in history courses on a walk-in, first come-first serve basis.  Please come check us out–your GPA will thank you.
