Lillian Guerra in PBS Documentary on Cuban Revolutionary

Dr. Lillian Guerra is featured prominently in an installment in PBS’s popular series, The American Experience, entitled American Commandante.  This show recounts the experience of William Morgan, an American veteran who was a leader in the Cuban Revolution until he ran afoul of Fidel Castro’s plans to consolidate power and ally Cuba with the Soviet Union.  As an expert in Cuban history, Dr. Guerra served as a consultant for the documentary and is interviewed in the film.  To find out more about William Morgan, Fidel Castro, and the fascinating history of the Cuban Revolution, be sure to take Dr. Guerra’s LAH3931 course in Spring 2016!
