Weilan Ge is a third-year Ph.D. student in history at the University of Florida. He has received his bachelor's degree from Lanzhou University and my master's degree from Renmin University of China, majoring in World history. He is interested in modern U.S., environmental history, urban history, marine history, and animal history. Now he focuses on coastal cities in the U.S. to explore the relationships between cities and oceans and the interact between humans and animals.
